Way to Save Money by using LED Street Lights

Save Money by using LED Street Lights:

There is a saying: "The rich are not the one who earns a lot of money, but the one who knows how to save." And savings on energy bills are no exception. Various energy savings are sold online. In fact, economists only lead to additional costs. But there are proven ways to reduce the cost of street lighting.

How to save on street lighting?
There are at least three ways to reduce the cost of street lighting:

1. Install motion sensors. Motion sensors help to save on street lighting installed in the right places. For example, there is no need to leave the lights on all night in the parking lot. The motion sensor is activated and turns on the light only when moving objects appear. The lamps turn off after 1-2 minutes, depending on the settings.

2. Set a photo of the relay. Photo The relay reacts to changes in street lighting. When the lighting decreases, the device turns on the light. Conversely, when it gets lighter, the photo relay turns off the light. For maximum savings, experts recommend using photo relays along with motion sensors.

3. Use energy-saving light sources. The most economical are LED bulbs. But the savings from the use of LEDs will only work with lighting devices from a reliable manufacturer, not a little-known or Chinese untested brand.

What is an LED lamp? It is a sturdy and energy-efficient LED light. This lamp creates street lighting that is easy to see.

LED street light: the benefits of using:
List of the main advantages of LEDs for street lighting:

Instant achieving full brightness - LED bulbs don't need time to warm up.

Safe for the environment and people - contains no lead, mercury or toxic gases. Throw out less CO2 emissions.

Create fewer glares - LED beams are aimed at the road surface, so they have no bad effect on the driver's vision.

Provides accurate color transmission - LED lighting makes it easier to recognize objects. At night it improves safety on roads and streets.

Provide higher light output - ICES perform better than their counterparts at lower temperatures. This is beneficial in the winter months.

It is weather-resistant - LED lighting is dustproof and waterproof. The lamps work at temperatures from -40 to 40.

What are the benefits of energy-saving street lights?
The main advantage of LED lights is saving money. The LED lighting is more energy-efficient than traditional sources of street lighting: sodium, halogen lamps, and others.

LED bulbs are considered devices with the highest energy efficiency. Energy-efficient lighting gives bright light flow and consumes a minimum of electricity. The lifespan of such lamps is higher than usual. THE lifespan of LED devices is longer than that of conventional devices. A 901 milliwatt street LED device generates the same brightness (or higher) as a conventional one. In this case, the lamp consumes only half of the energy. In the process of application, the power output is reduced by only 30%.

Conventional gas discharge lamps significantly increase energy consumption during switching on - this increases costs at the end of the month. Outdoor LED lights minimize peak loads in the electrical grid during launch.

LED bulbs - Types and Applications:
Installing the right lights on the street provides comfortable and economical lighting. There are several types of LED street lights:

The spotlight. The most powerful lighting device. They are used as a highlight of advertising media, facades of buildings, lighting of large objects and territories: stadiums during the game, city squares, transport stations.

Drowned lights. They are installed on the floors of terraces, gazebos, garden paths - and even straight into the ground to illuminate trees and fountains.

Suspended lamps. It is installed on the ceiling of the porch and the building to illuminate doors, attics, terraces.

Console lights. Attached to pillars like regular street lights. Console lamps gently illuminate the territory of small sizes: the area of the house, vegetable garden, parking.

Cost of LED street lights:
The price of LED lighting depends on four factors:

1. The power of the LED lamp. The higher the power, the higher the price. The LED bulb on 18 w and 1440 Nm costs 186 UAH, and on 36 w and 2880 Nm - 254 UAH.

2 Seller's pricing policy. ICE is profitable to buy directly from the manufacturer, without a mark-up from the middleman.

3. Country producer. Domestic fixtures are lower than similar products from Europe. For example, the German street lantern MW Light costs within 500 UAH. The Ukrainian analog costs about 300 UAH in euro light. Even cheaper will be a similar lamp from the Chinese manufacturer. At the same time, the quality of the goods can be questionable: Chinese manufacturers save on components, do not carry out the necessary certification and save on materials of the case. As a result, the device seizes or quickly fails.

4. Design. Spotlights have a simple design, so they are cheaper than console LEDs. If a 50-watt spotlight costs between 224 and 412 UAH, the console lamp of the same capacity will cost 799 UAH.
